I say bring on the dub. If it's good (which I am praying for), I can enjoy Gintama in both English and Japanese. And if it doesn't, there's still Crunchyroll.

As for dubs ruining everything... nah, not really. Cowboy Bebop was good, Mushi-shi was good, etc. I'm willing to give them a try.

Dubs are usually only bad after you listen to japanese voice acting.

But if you didn't listen to the japanese voice acting, dubs usually are fine.

before I'm actually fine with English Dub Digimon but after I listen to Japanese, it feels so wrong.

However, I prefer Samurai X (Rurouni Kenshin?) and Dragonball in Filipino Dubs (No, I'm not Filipino. I could just speak their language) over Japanese because of Kenshin and Goku's voice. I don't know about Eng Dubs though. (haven't watched them)
