Did anyone know that Melcor Menor, Muay thai world champion can hit with 3000 pounds of force with his knee?! And undefeated professional boxer Steve Petramale can hit with almost a 1000 pounds(993 actually) with his fis?!

I know aikido, but I really want to learn wushu, kendo and capoeira. If I had the time and the money I'd learn them all hehe

Five months of fencing has taught me I really hate attacking with a stupid, flimsy extension of myself under strict rules... I would much rather have spent those months learning boxing. Connecting with a punch is so much more satisfying than trying to poke someone.

I did brazilian jiu jitsu (BJJ) for a while because i'm a big UFC fan, but doing it seeing more fighting styles out there, it's really not the most practical for street fight or any fight other than competition. BJJ is submissions and stuff like that is what you are looking for in competition. If in an actual fight your looking for anything you can grab, rake, break...whatever...and there are fighting styles that fill that stuff in that BJJ doesn't teach you. Anyways, I would like to learn muay thai, i think it's one of the more brutal fighting styles when it comes to striking, which I think would come in the most handiest in a real fight.

haha, I watched that recently. What fun.

Someone was asking about Tony Jaa (one of a few names for that guy). He's studied a few styles. What can be seen in Ong Bak is more like the traditional form of Muay Thai, rather than the ring fighting style. He also shows off his gymnastic skills rather a lot.

I've been fencing for a few years. There are a few different types of fencing so I advice a little research before you join something. Also, it takes a while to get to a point where it's enjoyable, and despite what it looks like it does take a bit of strength.

I don't see myself taking up a martial art for the functionality of it, so maybe in the future I'll take up break-dance style.

ok first off i`m a kendo sage belt. So i`m pretty good. Oh yea bushido is not a sytle its a code of the samurai duhhh. But i`ve learned jujitsu, ninjitsu. Taijutsu is bullshyt. In kendo I use sin-ryu (double swords) it favors the legendary musashi. I also have been in judo but that was for a bit.

then I will literally whip your ass!
did you know my fightingstyle with one sword is purly made for striking and make an opening in those two sword styles XD
