I've heard that there was an episode 51 they were supposed to make but cause on money and time constraints they couldn't make it, they were going to try to make it later but it depended on the dvd sales in North America and Japan. I've also heard a couple things about a movie but not as much as an ova. Theres also a fan sequel that's very popular called Eureka 8 so maybe they'll consider making that into the sequel, don't know. Please someone give me some hope, i need to know if there will be more Eureka Seven, i'm suffering from withdrawel!

i heard that the company bought rights to the eureka 7 so there might be some hope as to a sequel

well there were three games released in japan the first two take place before the story of eureka seven happens and the third takes place during. bones and bandai both still have the rights for it and its a toss up it hasnt lead to either way theres been talk of a second season, a movie, or just an episode 151 to give people a better wrap up of it. theres also four novels based off of it and of course a manga was made for all the episodes and then theres the lift girl and reffing boy manga series based off of it as well that predates LFO's and just has good reffing. i personally would like to see a whole nether season instead of just one more episode but right now id be fine with either

they should make a second season. Should explain where Eureka and renton are and how they can get back. Also sails didn't go well in USA probably because the original Japanese dubs how mroe effect then the American voices =/

It is a bit of old news, but here:

ANN wrote:

The May issue (on sale on April 10) of Kadokawa Shoten's Newtype magazine will officially anounce that an Eureka Seven movie has been greenlit for production. Director Tomoki Kyoda (RahXephon movie), character designer Kenichi Yoshida (Overman King Gainer), and special effects director Yasushi Muraki (Ah! My Goddess: The Movie, The Skull Man) will reportedly return to animate with new mechanical designs, as well as a new form of storytelling that differs how the BONES anime studio produced the RahXephon movie. Although the creators are promising a new Eureka Seven "mythos," it will still feature the Renton and Eureka characters that starred in the original television version. Bandai Entertainment released both the original anime television series and the manga spinoff in North America. The Adult Swim television network ran the program in the United States.
