Just an idea.

How about a story about a guy and a girl. No love triangles or any other parties. Everything is in favor of them. Even the guy and both of their parents, but the girl isn't just focusing about love in the beginning. She prefer to focus on her carreer.

At the beginning the girl focus on becoming a professional tennis player. Her parents want her to be in a relationship or to get married, but she's just against of the idea. She's also flunking her classes because she uses most of her time in tennis practice. As a result of her failing grades, her parents decided to hire a tutor, which happens to be the lead guy.

The guy is really smart and all. He's good looking, but nobody recognizes it, 'cause he doesnt care about looks at all, so he doesn't shave his beard, wear glasses, and just look really nerd-y.

The first time that the guy saw the girl, he fell head over heels for her. He tried not to make it obvious, but every chance he gets he always stare at the girl. Soon the girl realized that the guy likes him, but she turned him down because she's just not ready yet and has plans for her future.

So the story focus on how they became close to each other, soon became friends and how the girl fell for the guy.

So yeah, that's my story that hopefully will happen in some drama .

Also, there's no character in there that will be the third party or will try to destroy the relationship.

i think the most creative drama concepts award should be given to jdramas.. i must say they have a whole lot of range when it comes to dramas... there's LIFE, 14 sai no haha, 1 liter of tears, change, fallen angels (i don't know if its really considered a drama), the queen's classroom.. and also Kanojo to no Tadashii Asobikata but i think this is a movie..

I totally understand YOU!! that's why I'm taking a break from typical love stories of 2 guys, 2 girls, rich and poor, love triangle--square, misunderstandings and etc.

But I feel like there are still dramas that are very good and stay away from the typical teen drama.

For example, If you want something different, I recommend
1. Bump of Lover 17--a murder mystery with many twists and it's very interest.
2. Life--talks about the reality of bullying in high school
3. Saito-San--mother who is wants to be a good role model to her son, so she corrects people and stand up for what's right
4. Edison no haha--talks about how geniuses are mistaken as trouble children, revolves around elementary school and teachers
5. Hotaru no Hikari--love story--but very good and funny, about a girl who is a total bum when she's off work

At the same time, like the dramas that I just listed, not a lot of people have watched it or heard of it and that's because it is not a typical teen love drama. Most people are into that, so directors produce more of those type of drama. Everyone wants to feel sadness and relate to the character and fall in love with them the same time the main character does. that's reality. we all want drama.

Hotaru no hikari is a love trianglish thingy well the girl wants to go out with the coworker but then she likes the manager

I happen to think that mist Japanese dramas are creative.

I mean, you only see dramas about yakuza teachers in Gokusen. Or a simple drama about a 14 year old kid getting pregnant, or even something like Himitsu no Hanazono. Even Kimmi wa Petto was different...

both parties, or lovers, or whatever the hell you wanna call them, are beyond childishness. they've both matured, have decent, but not exactly exciting careers, and families of their own they're responsable for. both are single, but plan to adopt instead of going down the "blissful" road of marriage. sounds plan so far, no? anyways, neither will have some kind of fatal illness, shocking, but cliche accidents, nor leave the country letting go of their lives to start anew. they've dated many and are pretty decent looking. both of their family members are supportive, but judgemental. they're neither rich, nor poor, in debt, nor looking to make loads and bundles of cash. as you can tell, i'm trying to keep my story closest to the side of reality as possible. okey, both have respective friends and people they can trust, but have had no luck to find " the one".

okey here's the actual storyline:

on some day of some week of a year, the man of the pair of lovers decided that he needed something new in his life that would make him feel, well "alive" again. and instead of buying a puppy or kitty, he decides to adopt at a local orphanage. his mindset is that he will not go home until he has decided on adopting ONE little boy around the age of 6. now for the female lead. she has "coincidentally", give me a break, let us just call it "fate", decided that she wanted to adopt a little 4-5 year old she could call her own. she goes to a local orphanage, not far from the one the male lead chose to go to, and also has a similar mindset, but a bit less determined. she finds a smart and sickeningly cute, little boy. but that boy had an older brother. hopefully you see what i'm driving at. the male lead, also finds a little boy, not as cute due to his age, but pretty good looking. before i go on, i need feedback. if you hate it, please don't bother asking for more. but don't bash me...TT.TT
adding i'm a bit tired of typing.

i'll give you an idea..

characters: *all in different schools and different cities*
choi- popular in school not because he is smart, athletic or handsome, he is a so-so average
jade- the talented low-stat in school. pretty but not sexy or have the perfect shape
spencer- twin brother of jade, more on the popular guy but hates attention
casey- the brat girl in her high school, smart but have a iron-hand!

they have different status in their lives.. choi is a very friendly guy, he is not handsome not that smart and not that very into sports. Students in his school know his name and they always says hi to him whenever they meet him. all the freshman on his school talks to him when they had a crush or infatuations on one of his colleagues. or sometimes some of his classmates asks him to write a love letter. Choi is an under dog, when he was in first year he tried to join the choir on his school but before the announcement of who passed he already quit, even though he passed. then after that he joined the theater club where he gained some confidence, but on his junior year he tried to join again the theater club but now it has a audition, afraid to make a fool of himself he didn't dare to audition. so without any choice he joined the book club where he gathered many of his friends. then on the senior year, he joined the table tennis club because of his friend. he was very fortunate because he got in into the volleyball varsity. choi's mother is in the united states to work, and his father is a part of the army so it barely go home. he has 2 sisters and 1 brother. after his graduation, he gathered all his strength and he walked into the black or dark alley to change his life....

<want more..? for other characters' story just say so.. ^_^ i'll do it..>

i think thats pretty good...but if someone were to read it or watch it...wouldnt they think the beginning is a little boring? since there are MANY stories coming out these days...you have to catch the readers attention

So we can give ideas for a drama of our own? Well then, how's this:

The main character is a hitman. One day he falls in love with a woman. They start dating, etc. But what he doesn't know is that she's actually the daughter of someone he killed in the past, and she's back for revenge. He really loves her, and decides that he's going to quit being a hitman. She was only pretending to like him to get close to him, and find a chance to kill him. But somehow or other, she really starts to fall for him. In the end, they reconcile and want to live happy ever after... But the woman's brother finds out the man is the hitman who killed their parents, and in a fit of rage, kills him. The end.

Not very good, I know. Maybe I'll think up something better later.

well the brothers knew where each other were in the beginning and refused to be adopted without the other. so in some agreement between the adopters, once a week, until both children's 18 birthday, the two parties would meet up and allow the children to hang out. thus forming a bond between the couples. there should be some amazing twist somewhere in all this, but i got nothing else so far.
