For those who went to Workshop 1, Building Upon Crunchyroll, I was the kid in the bright red sweatshirt asking mostly all the questions. :P

Here you can talk alls about Otakon like, WHY WASN'T SHINJI THERE, and etc.

Well me will start it off so...

Who actually found the mysterious "Entrances?"

ah, i remember, i believe you were sitting on the row behind me. I just followed the group after the panel, then passed out the postcards by the main doors.

I walked thru all the entrances, never really saw anybody with crunchyroll shirts nor the entrances where the meeting was going to be held for 2pm, so for the most part, hung out with Peter Fernandez and friends. *sigh* i looked friday for the 10-12 slot, and the 2-4p. same for saturday guess ill give a small donation to here next month. I was the guy walking around with glasses and a black hat that had the kanji *strengh* on it and a black backpack.

i really liked the ota-chan room, it was perfect for kids to enjoy the convention. Made a few origami cranes and paper water balloons. And the candy sushi was a really cool idea with twizzlers, rice crispy treats, and a fruit roll up, icing was like the mayonaisse but it held the candy sushi together. I didnt see many people for Peter Fernandez's signing at the dealer's room. Its was nice to actually meet him, Saw a few speed racers near his booth getting autographs. but not much compared to the guys on the 3rd floor. The panel for the "go" was fun, but i still wished there was more to do at the live model drawing panel. I guess it was just a guy posing, and you have to draw him every 30 secs. No tips nor advice on sketches other than coloring the white spaces...thats what she said...mainly the entire sheet of paper is a white space...*sigh* ^_^ it was fun though. but you know, i think it would be better if we had contact numbers to call if we got lost, I had a heck of time searching for meeting entrance, and im from here, but still got lost. Lolz.

That was my first Otakon so it was really amazing for me, plus it was my birthday Saturday so that made it even better. I was also at the panel. I was the kid with the dark blue shirt with Chinese characters on it... It was really fun passing out the cards afterwards, I figured I would stand by the entrance and force people going in/out to take them, so I got rid of 2 stacks in no time jtlikk I remember you and smarbles were still there when my friend and I were leaving. Did you guys end up finishing? It was really nice to meet you all

I ended my stack of cards, but like i said yesterday, it looked harder then it looks. I had trouble giving out the card because the majority of them flat out refused the cards.

I remember seeing you. You were like two seats away from me.
And no clue why Shinji wasn't there. I'm kindda glad, because it still keeps the mystery.
Anyway, I was disappointed with how unorganized the CR flyer locations were. I couldn't find any volunteers on Friday.
And as for the Building Upon Crunchyroll, if it weren't for the information desk, I wouldn't have gotten to the panel, or the volunteer leaders because they weren't where they were originally supposed to be.

But besides CR and it's flaws, I enjoyed myself at this year's Otakon.
I was able to find almost everything I wanted in the Dealer's Room and Artist Alley.
And I must say, the artists this year in Artist Alley were amazing. I truly enjoyed their work.
And I even got my first job experience in by working at Anime Pavillion for a bit on Sunday. o___o

Crunchyroll was freaking hard to find. By the time I found it, it was already over an hour and a half ago. T-T The cards were pretty easy to hand out if you used the word "free" a lot. I missed the panel though, so I don't think I've met that many people.

I wasn't an active part of the planning process but I see what was done wrong. We should have had the streets labeled on that map. Looking at it now, A and B locations weren't labeled that they were under the overpass on the sidewalk and not in the building. But then again, none of us had been there before. Probably should have had an off site meet up somewhere away from the Convention Center so it would be easier to spot us. But oh well, nothing even went as planned for me. I went through a bunch of plane delays and cancellations so I was basically only there on Saturday and a little bit on Sunday before I went to the airport. Now I'm actually still in Maryland waiting for a plane coming 6 hours from now and I have no money. =D

D= Oh goodness. Hope you get back safe, BK.
And the off site meeting would've been a better idea. Probably by the inner harbor fountains... That's a noticable place.
But I do hope CR plans on doing this next year. ^^

Yeah I will be posting pictures as well of all the cosplayers I took. :P

There were a couple of cross dressers there, heh, I tried to take pictures of them all but missed out on ALOT. But I still can't believe I bought 300+ bucks worth of stuff in the dealers room...I mean they had EVERYTHING I wanted!

I bought this really cool Japanese game called Densetsu no Stafy (or Starfy) and it is the bestest game I have EVER played!

Of course some little and big figures, and a few plushies like my talking Chopper plushie that some of you peoples might have seen.
