i would bring gakuen alice/ouran, or any kind of romance/comedy mangas. the action mangas are out of the question, because a whole fighting scene can take up two pages and i'll finish it real quick.

Erm...I'd say a manga that either teaches me how to survive in the wild, or can magically help me get off the island...if there is such manga that is. No matter what it is...put your life before all else...unless you actually intend to literally read manga until you die...
