I cried when they died. I mean she was like, I don't wanna die and then when she died...i lost it. Satella's death was especially sad too. Man that anime had me crying like a bitch. It was really good.

Nothing will ever top how much Now and Then, Here and There made me cry. I wouldn't get out of bed for a week, I was so depressed. My room mate was concerned.
AIR made me shed a few tears as well and NANA, while it doesn't make me cry, does make me very sad.
The manga Furuba made me cry. (not the anime)

Watch the follow up OVAs. Its the alternate scenario where he picks the other girl and the ending isn't sad. It even sorts out what happens with the girl he doesn't pick.

kiss x sis... that shit touched my heart in so many levels. No but really that will be "Clannad After" and "Honey and Clover", but probably the most touching moment that in anime for me was in "saikano" the dead of akemi, that was reeeeeally sad.
