ANGEL BEATS HANDS DOWN THE MOST

The last episode of Angel Beats. I realized on the last episode how much I came to love the characters even though it was only a 13 episode series, and on of two animes that made me cry. the other show is One Piece, -SPOILER- when they had to sink the Merry.

School Days and Clannad for me. I felt lucky being alive after watching School Days being attacked in the same manner by my ex, then Clannad got me off my butt being I had to raise my daughter by myself after that incident. I literally felt sick in my stomach after watching the ending of SD thanking God I wasn't on a tiny boat lol

I was originally thinking of series anime, but if you include movies:
5 Centimeters per Second Touching or Touched (as in "don't mind him, he's a bit touched in the head...") Don't get me wrong, I love the show, it is just crazy as hell! |

This season has one that may surpass them all in terms of "most touching": Tari Tari I'm actually about to start watching Tari Tari, I'm glad to see it on a top list, is it truly that good? I'm more excited to begin it now than I was before! :) I also feel the same about MGX btw... If it wasn't for all the drool, aside from that it was very beautiful in it's own....unique...way. |

Eureka Seven! Renton and Eureka are my favorite love story. The scene in episodes 25 or 26 where they are falling through the sky together gets all teared up every time.

AnoHana, Clannad, and Graves of Fireflies to name a few tear jerkers. This thread would even better if it had some kind of poll because there pages and pages full of the same answers, i.e. "Bokura ga ita, Clannad, etc". Not that it's bad to express your opinion or to comment in general, it just seems like it would be nice to see some numbers to really display the communities opinions. I mean, its not too hard to get a sense of the most mentioned anime in this thread. As for the minorities, less mentioned but not necessarily less popular, you could put an "Other" option and have them put in the comments.
But idk, I was thinking of starting my own thread/poll for this but feel like it would be kinda of redundant. |

Anohana and Angel Beats for me
I'm pretty sure I teared up a few times when I was watching |

Anohana was the sadest anime I have ever had the pleasure to watch. The show had characters that carried all kinds of guilt, which in the end were actually dumped on the person watching the show (me). The best part was that the show didn't even have 12 episodes (enough to make a full season), meaning that they had to speed up the story line.
It was not a drag. |
