OK. I'm new to uploading. I tried to upload a movie about kirby I took with my emulator(visual boy advance) And it gave me an error. AFTER I uploaded it. And it took 30+min.
What did I do?
note: the video is a saved as AVI. Does that mean anything?

So what did the error say? Along the lines of "onlError" means that your connection was cut. Other than that it was probably a corrupt file. Seriously though, you must have a really sucky connection if it took over 30 min to upload a game video. It can't be that big...

I get that problen every now and then too, usually when I have a fluctuating internet connection. If I give it some time it works afterwards. BUT you need to click upload again and not back in your browser, for some reason it remembers you hash id (technical stuff) So give it 10-15 minutes and then click upload again. As Uchari told you we do not however accept any new shows with chinese subs. There is an english fansubbing group out there so it will be uploaded eventually, I know that the first episode was released last week.

Thank peewee! Yea, I understand and probably will not be uploading it. The first episode is already out which I have seen it on youtube.

I apologize if there is already a question like this. Is it possible to delete a low quality video I just uploaded so that I could replace it with a better quality one?

I tried removing the low quality video I uploaded from the "Remove" link from my account page, then I tried uploading the better quality version of the video with a description in it that says that it is a higher quality version. But it turned out that the new one I uploaded, is tagged only as "Duplicate".

Thanks.

You can't remove a video once it has been approved. If you want to reupload a high quality video just do so and then in the description box write something like "This is not a duplicate. Better quality in this one". Or you can just tell a mod to watch out for it.

I noticed recently it doesn't quite like having more than one upload at same time. Otherwise one of uploads is likely to vanish into the black hole. It's a real pain to upload one at a time, but that's life.

Once it is encoded then it has to be approved. So it may take a while for it to be approved because there's a huge list of them for the media mods to do. To speed up the process you have to properly tag the videos first. It all depends on luck to as well. Please be patient. This is not an automatic process. It may take days before your video is approved.
