Dude I condemn all civilian killings. If Russia was to attack Georgia and Georgia didnt attack anyone then YES ALL BLAME GOES TO RUSSIA FOR ATTACKING. But while everyone is watching the olypics who would have thought Georgia would commit such an act? Your going into these wars in the past I am talking about the situation right now because to me something is very fishy.

1. Georgia recieved military training from the US and Isreal
2. Israel sells Georgia weapons
3 The USA has always been pushing Georgia to join Nato
4. The General who led the attack on South Ossetia is also an Israeli citizen
5. USA builds missle defence in Poland after the conflict (now we know damn well Iran wont attack us they never in history have they attacked any country, if they are a threat to Israel that is their problem not ours this is a smokescreen.)

Did Georgia think USA would back them up if Russia retailated is this why they attacked?

Do you see why all these conspiracies can form around this conflict there is something being hidden and something big coming out of this situation. And the complete utter bias in our media all the more raises some serious questions that is not being answered.

I think there are reasons why Georgia were aided by those countries since Georgia is small and ill-equipped with modern day sophisticated weapons.
Look at Russia it is rank as one of the biggest weapon contributor in the world.
Combatants:
Russia and South Ossetia have 3,000 men and 15,000 reservists:unknown number of volunteers
Est. at least 15,000 regulars in Georgia (as of 13/07/08)
5,000 not including reservists;unknown number of volunteers
More than 38,000 total

(Russia used the Ossetian militias to attack Georgian civilians)
Georgia has 7,500 regulars, including 2,000 initially in Iraq; 250,000 conscripted reservists and volunteers; unknown number of Georgian Police deployed in the conflict zone.
At least 37,000 total

Don't forget that Russia had aid some totalitarian regimes in the world and gave them weapons.
Russia,South Ossetia and Abkhazia fighting against one nation,Georgia.
I think we can describe it as bullying since 3 nations are attacking 1 nation.

I completly agree with you Russia does not have a good past but so doesnt the USA. We funded Osama bin laden and Sadam Hussien (and we are funding and giving free weapons, aid to Israel to down right destroy Palestinian lands and civilians) and we are also a big weapon contributor around the world as well. But your acting like Georgia is just being bullied when in fact they were the aggressers this is what I am trying to say to you lol. Russia has not attacked Georgia untill they attacked. If that was the case of Russia using the militias to attack Georgian civilians then it would be recognized around the world that Russia started this conflict but it is not.

Do you find it rather odd that Georgia is not being condemned at all in our mainstream media for killing innocent civilians?

It depends for a journalist reporting about Georgia's actions and tell it to the CNN or whatsoever.
Yes I agree that U.S funded the Afghan mujahideen not the foreign Al-Qaeda members who were Arabs not Afghans but in this situation it is different because it is ethnic-political conflict.

In my opinion I think we must condemn both U.S and Russia as prime suspects for this war.

We almost on common grounds accept for condeming Russia cause they havent done anything but USA on the otherside seems like they was involved in it along with Israel. I say this because they military training they gave Georgia before the war and Israel selling them weapons also a general leading them. All I can say is people need to take this conflict seriously because the way our government and Nato is acting can potentially put us into another Cold War with Russia and nobody wants that.

Not only that,it will lead the world to a so-called World War 3 added by War on terrorism.
But I think it's too late now because Georgia had charge Russia of violating territorial domain or something in the Hague.

It is true, Georgia is the aggressor against South Ossetia, which is inside Russian Territory but the problem is that Russia is self-defending in a way that is a lil excessive >>

You are mixed up. South Ossetia is in Georgia. North Ossetia is in Russia. I'm not sure about the status of South Ossetia as it currently occupied by the Russian Military. =\ South Ossetia was part of the USSR, not Russia. The independence of South Ossetia was diplomatically recognized by Russia on August 26, 2008, and no other member of the United Nations has recognized the republic.

Where are you getting your information?

NATO isn't supposed to exist anymore anyway. It was a coalition created specifically to counter the possible spread of Communism into Western Europe. We should question why this out-dated group still exists as well as the attempts by a biased media to absolve Georgia of all blame.

But what about North Korea and China and the the rest of the communist nations? They are true communist though. I feared China may try to seize control of Europe lol.

China is not a truly communist state: they employ a capitalist-driven economy to make larger profits. We are not concerned about communism as a global threat because communism/Marxism is not longer perceived as an unified front. We are mostly concerned about China gaining superiority on the economic frontier, not in military strength or political superiority (and that's just compared to the US).

NATO should not even be an issue in this conflict. It's being used as a front for American hegemony into the Middle East and the former Soviet republics. It's also extremely ironic that Georgia cites its "democratic institutions" when seeking the protection of the US. Georgia has sent troops into South Ossetia to enforce its rule; South Ossetia has vehemently denied its inclusion into Georgia but has been ignored by the UN the entire time.

If the morons in Washington keeps trying to provoke Russia hell possibly. Why is the USA rather then playing the negotiater why the hell we gotta jump in and take sides which makes matters worse? Why the hell do we have to send aid in warships? How the hell would we respond if we have the Soviet Union surrounding our country like Nato surrounds Russia? We need to pull out of Nato man as aggressive as Georgia is we should be thanking God they wasnt in Nato when they launched that barbaric attack on Russia. We got people like Sarah Paulin saying, "Georgia is in Nato and they get attacked it is the US duty to defend them." This is scary Russia is not Iraq they aint no push over country. Hell I wouldnt even be surprised if a draft went on if we go to war with them. Sarah Paulin didnt even try to offer some type of negotiation she goes straight into attack mode. We are not all Georgians as Mccain said we need to stop butting into other peoples affairs making matters worse. Now you wonder why the US reputation is not good around the world.
