In this thread you can post idioms/idiomatic expressions with its meaning....

Idiom is a term or phrase whose meaning cannot be deduced from the literal definitions and the arrangement of its parts, but refers instead to a figurative meaning that is known only through common use.

The old horse finally kicked the bucket. = to die

I think my sewing machine has kicked the bucket. = Of a machine, to break down such that it cannot be repaired

"a stitch in time, saves nine" - a work that's done bit by bit, will adds up to its completion in time.
"you can't judge a book by its cover" - never value a person just based solely on his/her appearance.
"i did it for the lulz" - just kidding/for the sake of good jokes.
