I was actually thinking about this the other day. I remember hearing about an occurrence of SHC at a club back in the seventies. You know the song "Disco Inferno" by the Trammps? Or even the more recent "Danger! High Voltage" by Electric Six. I've always wondered if these songs were inspired by that specific case of SHC, because that would really be odd / awesome.

Spontaneous combustion...eh? I've seen somewhere about it, since it has something to with heat..
is this sorta near to combustion? Sometimes for no reason at all, I feel all burned up or "heated"...something like that, and then I go into cooldown....it's weird.

One time a lit a guy on fire and he blew up. That's sorta spontaneous combustion, considering humans don't explose when they catch on fire; they just... burn, I guess.

>.< Does anyone else get all nervous and paranoid reading things like this? Ah..reading things that could go wrong with people really gets me nervous. I feel all sick (Er..more sick. I'm already sick. XD ) Ugh..I hate it. Can't even watch hospital dramas without getting paranoid. XD Many sleepless nights..

But anyway, on topic. I heard about spontaneous combustion awhile back too. My mother's friend's son who I hung out with occasionally talked about it a lot for a short time, and had me watch the show about it he had recorded. That made me nervous as well. Though it is uncommon, it still gets to me. >.<

yeah,it happens only with alchoholics and elderly people. funnily enough, their surroundings are unsinged. a guy caught fire on a hyastack, but the hay never showed any signs of burning while he roasted at 200 Celsius plus.
