Update - May 9th

The adbrite player is back but apparently only on some videos, however, this time the larger button is available, please remember that this is so that shinji can keep up with the bandwidth costs and keep crunchyroll a free site.

Update - April 25th:

Yeap, this will be permanent as far as i can tell! =D The other anti-leeching methods (max 15-20 video views per day) seem to make this unnecessary. The bandwidth has been cut down a bit so I can now afford to make this available again! =) yay!

As many of you have noticed, Shinji has changed the player to an ad based player (from a company named Adbrite) and has removed the Larger link so many are stuck watching in the normal sized screen. This may or may not be temporary but we haven't gotten any feedback from Shinji yet so we don't really know what's going on. He may just need to make a new set of links to work with the Adbrite player, but that's just speculation.

If the videos don't show up at all for you and you are using Firefox, you probably have Adblock Plus and it's blocking the video. For them to show up, you have to disable the block on Adbrite or simply disable Adblock all together.

How to view Full-screen videos:
Regardless of the browser you are using open up the page for the video you want to watch. From your browser, click on View and then click Source or Page Source and you should get a page with a bunch of weird text (HTML code). At this page, use the Find or Search function on your browser and search for the following.
http://vid.adbrite.com/video/abplayer.swf?&vid=
It should find and highlight the part of the URL that you searched for. Then all you have to do is copy the whole link with the number, paste it into your URL bar and hit enter.

Method 2:
This is another method for FireFox users. Get the UnPlug extension:

After installing it, right-click on the page of the video you want to watch Full Screen and choose UnPlug. It will take you to to a page with a link to the video. Click the link, and the video will load at Full Screen.

SIMPLEST METHOD FOR FIREFOX OR OPERA USERS
(This doesn't work on Internet Explorer 6)
fluid_motion posted this method in the previous Forum News thread. Simply copy and paste everything in the quote box and paste it into the Address Bar on any video page that has the new player and it will take you to the Full Screen page.

The best thing to do is to create a new bookmark and paste that javascript code into the Location field. So all you have to do is simply click on that button whenever you want to view a video in Full Screen.

I use firefox and it doesnt show up at all.. I went to IE same thing. =OOOOO

Either you have a firewall that's blocking it or you have some type of universal adblocking software.

I'm not able to view them either. *goes to deactivate firewall and stuff*

Ok so deactivating the firewall, phishing filter, protection mode and ad blocker on IE7 didn't work. But the new video player works in firefox though.

Shinji, can you make the video player IE compatible?..well when you get around to reading this thread

I'm really missing the old player.
