i was still confused... but i think what kobayashi said "the periot erased their memories and make them believe that megumi was a boy to begin with" i think megumi was originally a girl, the book can make illissioons right... gosh... the story was soooooo confusing~!>.<

Nope i think i remember the little clown thing saying that he didnt turn her into a girl but he made her think that she was once a boy, but she was a girl all along. oh yeah and made everyone think that she was once a boy. HAHAHAHA Everybody needs to watch this ITS GREAT

Yeah, she was never a boy at all, she just didn't like to act girly because of how girls we're treated in the time so she just thought of herself a boy. (Makes sense why her parents we're happy she thought she was a girl again). But I don't blame you for being confused it took me some time to know which gender sense the series ended on a cliff-hanger a bit.

I couldn't find the specific scanslations, but from what I dug up, apparently in the manga she really was a girl originally. Then there really was this glass accident where Genzo protected her. Since it was in Japanese I couldn't read it, but I think that's why she made a wish (?) to have memories or being a boy to be strong enough to never have to be protected (?). The pierrot can only alter people's minds. So yea, I think she was born a girl, had her mind changed, and decided to keep living as a girl.

i think the pierrot more likely has some crappy ability to alter the memory. Meaning, when Megumi at the time wished for her to become the strongest/manliest man, the pierrot alter her past memory so as the present/future her thinks that she was a guy before she got the book.

That ending kinda confused me ^^; But it would be better if Megu is a boy! T.T It suits her more!

I think, instead of goin through the trails of changing everyones minds and photos and everything that little devil thing just changed the minds of those who stood in frount of it, which was much easier then the other choice

okay wut u said makes absolutely no sense to me she didnt just 'think' of herself as a boy the demon thing made her think she was born a boy. i mean u tell me which is easier: changing the memories of two girls to think one of them was originally a boy, or changing the memories of EVERYBODY who ever met her, ALL of her pictures, her birth certificate, school documents, etc. to say she was born a girl and then changing her. huh which ones harder and a stupid waste of energy? cuz if u ask me the demon pierrot thingy isnt one to use unnecessary energy.

Yes the demon joker made her think she was a boy and her friends BUT I'm saying she ALWAYS thought of herself as a boy even before she meet the demon joker. If you remember how Megu and Miku (If that was her name, been awhile) meet she beat up some boys and protector Miku. I know Miku lost some memory but it tactically didn't say she lost all memory or really say at all. She did remember that Megu was really a girl and not a boy in that one episode if you remember. So her other memory's might be true to, Just her thinking Megu was a boy and not a girl. So I'm saying that Megu just thought as herself as a boy (Or Tomboy as you may say) ever sense even though she was really a girl!

So she pretty much a poor little gender confused girl.

lolx how can it be confusing when Miki already said that Megu is a girl from the begining. The Pierrot didn't change Megu to a girl, He oni make Miki n Megu think that Megu was a guy before. thats how his magic worked. n that explains why Miki's sub conscious knew the truth. thats y it was wierd that Megu's parents didn't say anything bout Megu being a boy.
