Even in the last day of life repentance can still happen and heaven can be your tomorrow. On my last day I would let everyone know how much I appreciate them in life and thank God for the life He has given me. I would want to give my love to others before I pass away and have my death be a testimony of my life.

You wouldnt go aroung blowing cars up and killing people ? seems like a wasted last few days. and death ends everything there is no heaven and hell. death ends everything, so have fun while you can cause once its over its over.

Well, I disagree. I believe that heaven and hell do exist within the Christian context of the words. Even if they didn't though I wouldn't "live it up" because once we are gone the only thing left would be our legacy, and I would want mine to be a legacy worth retelling in a positive light, what I did to help others and such.

Pshh once earth is gone our legacy is gone, we haven't met with other intelligent life yet, so our existance would completely disapear, no legacy no legends no myths, none of that shit, not living it up is a total waste. So your legacy would disapear when the earth gets raped by a space rock. So no point in not living it up.

Up until then though we can have a legacy worth retelling, a life lived that impacted the world and people for the better. I wouldn't want to be remembered as someone who died but lived selfishly or who went out by taking others with me/committing crimes. It would only bring shame to one's life and death, and that life lived would have lived within the context of complete hedonism.

Your missing the point, you wouldnt be remembered at all, no one would, there would be nobody left to remember you, or any one else for that matter. Why does it matter how you live right before death if nobody remembers it ? Its a total waste to not go all out right before you die.

My family and friends would remember me, and even if they die and no one else knows that I existed it wouldn't matter. I find more gratification in loving others and being loved versus chasing desires that won't satisfy me and only leave me craving more.

Your family and friends won't remember you, they got wasted by a space rock remember ? As did you, well actually it'd be more like the massive shockwave the earth raping space rock created on impact, but the point is nobody would remember you, and why not have some fun before you get owned by a 100,000 mph wall of air and water ? I know i would

It's not that big of a deal to me. I do believe in Jesus and the Christian God, therefore regardless I want to live a life of worship and service. God has already given me my calling for life and He is training me through events in my life to make me ready for it

If I knew the world was going to end tomorrow...well, my boyfriend and I have already discussed this. XD We've agreed that the hours before the world ends we're going to go streaking through downtown screaming like banshees and laugh our asses off. Bahahaha. It'll be fun. And then I'll get drunk from red wine and probably engage in unprotected sex. But it's the end of the world, so, who cares about pregnancy? XD lol

I've watched the conversation between you and digs. Strikingly interesting to me because either point is justified, especially the one who choses his/her own actions. You seem to have a preference for something destructive in light of "fun" as you have suggested to digs in the course of your conversation. That may be your way of fun knowing you'll only live long for a given time. Yet he is also entitled to live his own fun the way he sees fit. It's all in the matter of choosing that makes life worth living.

We choose to do something because it can make us whole. It's funny how most people don't live life that way because they "got plenty of time". Why can't you have fun now and wait until the last days of your life? You might wonder why I'm asking this knowing that certain actions have consequences. Well that's no surprise because any action will have consequences, regardless of whether they're good or bad. Instead, try on these shoes and look in another perspective. Why should something that is "fun" be limited to destruction? Without exploring what it is beyond that, the possibilities that exist for you is bounded by that, which is in this case destruction. Mind you there's nothing wrong with your preference. It is perfect the way it is. That is one of the most interesting aspects of your life, that it is perfect the way it is, regardless of the fortunes and misfortunes. If someone made a movie about your life, it would sell (can you imagine the drama that exists in one's life, anybody's life?) Let's expand this idea further by quoting other things you have said.

Let's talk about the legacy since it was brought up. You can easily dismiss the fact that no legacy will ever be left behind because there is no "audience" to bear witness to it. Of course that reasoning is still bounded by your initial constraints: "earth is gone our legacy is gone", "we haven't met with other intelligent life yet, so our existance would completely disapear", "you wouldnt be remembered at all, no one would, there would be nobody left to remember you, or any one else for that matter". digs on the other hand is sure that there would be an audience and they do not even have to be family or people of the earth (even though he did not mention alternatives or substitutes) because he created that possibility with other views he holds unto: God, family, and by extension himself including all others since it is implied that he believes in an afterlife. These possibilities cannot exist for you because you do not share these views, which is totally fine. I'm merely pointing out the fact that the power choice has a bearing on what possibilities can exist for a person and in that light can live up his or her life to the fullest, no matter what that is.

Now unto my own input. Knowing my days would end, I will enjoy life's pleasantries and treat myself to fine food, go on trips and visit places I've always wanted to see, and I'll invite people whom I wish to spend these times with. I'll even have the most amazing sex with someone I truly love. I'll be drinking great wine and be merry. Sure I'll probably do some stupid things here and there for laughs but nothing too destructive. I'll fill my last days with joy and laughter. Of course for the most part it will require quite an amount of money but knowing I'm living my last few days, I'll happily spend it all.
