So it is really that we got used to seeing asian with those asian hair. I kinda have to agree with you on that. |

And maybe because most western men have wavy/curly hair. don't know how are you serious? that hairstyle originated in America! like in the 60's and 70's. Will maybe it was influenced, but definately not originated. And I don't get what you mean by "how are you serious?" |

Spoiler Alert! Click to show or hide brazodemercedes wrote: Zac Efron --- The Filipinos cannot seem to pull this hair off. I thought at first because most of the men have brown skin, but I saw Malays with this hairstyle and they are able to pull it off. I remember when F4 was a hit in Manila, some of my officemates tried to copy the hairstyle and we, women, were laughing because they looked like toasted f4. The skin is soo dark and with that hairstyle? The weather is hot and humid. If you walk one block you'd be sweating and the hair will be sticking to your face ewwwwwwww, not a sight to look at. But the Malays here in Singapore pulls it off with style. I guess it has something to do with attitude. You have to match it with clothes and the shoes... We were thinking that Filipinos looks best with the skinhead look. But still it looks better with someone who is fair skinned. If skin is dark, they look like someone who just got on a parole from jail :(... OHHHHHHH I'm being bad hehe. Don't get me wrong, I love Filipino guys... all of my past and current BF are Filipinos, it just frustrates me that we can't get into same stream as the Japs and Koreans in hairstyle (for Men). I guess they just need to come up with something unique... I'll be in lookout and comment back here i think i know the reason why filipino guys can't pull it off, because they have this physical aspects that is more matured than japanese and korean guys. like for example tackey of japan and lee jun ki of korea *i love them both* they are hot with their hairs but look at for example derek ramsey of the philippines, he looks more matured than the 2 even though i think they are the same age. there is type of "emo" style in the philippines that looks good on some filipino guys but not as good as the hair of the hair of korean and jap guys. philippines is more of the clean cut or 2x3 or shave head hairstyles. have you notices that there no much of korean and jap guys that has a shave head or clean cut.? and i just thought about it, in korea if you have short hair the it doesn't compliment your eyes. in japan if you have short hair it doesn't compliment the forehead. just like in the philippines, if you have those kind of hairstyle like korea and japan has, it doesn't compliment some of the facial features. *you get what i mean right? lolx, 'cause this is so long now.* |

But no seriously it doesn't turn out to look that good. Don't you see hwo most people on CR say "I don't wnat to risk going to a non-Asian salonist. I guess it just depends on the trends. I don't know. |
