I am from Port-Au-Prince Haiti, a small island nation in the Caribbean. When I say small, I also mean poor! How poor you may ask. Well, we only had 1 television station and during the week days it came on at 5pm-10pm and during the week ends 12pm-10pm. Imagine my shock when my family moved to the states and there was over a 100 channels that was on 24/7! Any ways, the first show that came on Saturdays was some thing that changed my young life.: Gatchaman! I had never seen any thing like that before in my young life. For those of you who say that Anime is better in it's native Japanese soundtrack(I totally agree)these shows were dubbed in FRENCH!(my native tongue)I did not know what I was missing out on till I watched the series again later on in life. To me,this series is the Apex of Anime, there is none higher! Oh sure, there are those out there who will say that it's out dated and there are better series but I say that they are FOOLS! Gatchaman should go down in Anime history as what an action Anime series should be! What do you guys think?

Gatchaman is a great series and one of the first i was exposed to at a young age. Being older i still remember many of the episodes of this series even the Americanized version G-Force. That being said I think Gatchaman should be memoralized on the Silver or Blu Disc forever. I definitely will add it to my library along with Space Battleship Yamato....http://www.starblazers.com. IMDB.com has a release date of 3 April 2009 (USA) for Gatchaman (could this be a movie?)
