That actually goes Back to the Chinese .

See, they used to use a mass produced version of The mauser pistol http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mauser_C96 in thier police force .

Holding it sideways allowed them to use a recoil-jump , so they could quikly fill an area with fire .

haha.... i've noticed those things too... especially the girl being piggy backed on a kdrama...

~ why does asian horror movies all have sadako-like ghosts??... long shiny hair, pale skin, blood shot eyes clothed in white??

~ in some romance dramas, there's always the scene where the girl rides at the back of the guy's bike holding around his waist, on a hill side and a sunset in the background?

- Simply because that's their perception of a ghost in most asian countries. And most asian girl's have long hair. It's quite rare to see asian girls with short hair. Especially children.

-Some, yes. Because in the province or urban areas, (where the characters most probably live) riding a bike is their idea of a romantic date. (if not a picnic)

I always wondered why there's always someone with cancer in Kdramas. Not all of them but a good number of them.

Why is it that every important emotion in K-dramas needs to be portrayed through flashbacks?

And why is it that the kind, loving and long suffering best friend never gets the girl?

Why is a person with a terminal disease always given three months left to live?

I guess for dramatic effect. Its hilarious though now that you mention it, never really thought about it before. But since those techniques are used over and over again, its gets predictable.

Why do American movies about Jesus Christ always have stupid incomplete crosses to crucify Christ that look like capital Tees instead of proper crosses, or why do they use a complicated puzzle interlock so-called cross that the guy playing Christ ends up carrying a cross-bar (a mathematical minus sign) which they drop over a cleverly machined upright, instead of a complete cross?

In the Gospel of John, they had a *Jesus* carrying only the crossbar, a minus sign. Disgusting.

I guess it's suppose to be more interesting in that way... i think it's sooo sweet to see a guy carry a girl on his back... if the movie is too simple, then it won't be good...

Why are the wedding scenes so long in Filipino movies? They feature it like the most important part of the movie.
