Hey! My name is Mel :3 I'm 21, live in Ontario, Canada. Something interesting/weird about me... well I was born with a hole in my heart however it healed itself completely and very quickly. Also I'm known to make friends literally everywhere I go. Supermarkets, lines waiting to pick something up, doctors offices, the apple store. The list goes on! What got me into anime was probably my best friend who started linking me to random girly ones she started watching. I never really knew much about it but got instantly hooked. I watched things like Sailor Moon, CCS, and DB and DBZ when I was a kid, however I wasn't aware they were "anime". What got me into video games was my very first console! Nintendo 64. It was glorious, I went to Costco with my dad and begged him to get it for me. It came with Diddy Kong Racing. My life was set.

3) I am not sure what I find all that interesting about myself. I guess something weird about me is I am almost 30 years old and I still suck my thumb. Don't know why but I have done it my entire life. 
4) When I was about 10 or 11, I turned on Cartoon Network late on a Saturday night and it was 'Saturday Japanime'. The movie was Vampire Hunter D. I was totally hooked!

My first manga <3 Anime-wise, they also showed me Shugo Chara!...which I was heavily devoted to for the next 2 years [: I love rock music, Foo Fighters and The Strokes <3 metal [ANTHRAXXX \m/] and some singers like Florence + The Machine and Lady Gaga...Gaga is the only pop singer I can tolerate actually rofl
