4. My friend got me into anime. He gave me an account on this website to watch Naruto, and then I watched a lot of it. And then from there I got into Manga, which is probably my favourite form of media from Japan now, and I spent thousands at the local bookstore once they started to carry it. Then I started getting into J-pop. And now I really like Japan and most of the things they do.

Hi all! New member here. Someone brought me over to crunchyroll saying I should check it out (I was tired of the cruddy anime selection on netflix). I think it'd be great to meet and talk to others with similar interests.
I'm 31, male from Las Vegas. I've studied Japanese before and my first anime was Sailor Moon. Then Ranma. I am a bit old school and trying to break into newer titles.

3.) Thinks that The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya is one of the better films he has watched this year.
4.) I'm massive fan of Bleach and it will always hold a dear place in my heart as It was the 1st animes I really got into. Say something bad against it, and I will most likely agree but that doesn't change the fact that I <3 it badly. Since then I've started watching les shonen anime and more "mature" (not anything dodgy byw)
