Allo :)

1. Name is Tyler, though sometimes I'm known as Woad or Tobi.
2. 28/m/Washington State
3. I can't really say there's anything especially interesting or weird about me. I'm an amateur artist, trying to develop my skills. I am also an amateur writer, but that's mostly for fun. Ummm... Yeah... <.< I'm a random otaku on the internet? lol
4. Always been into music and games, but for anime and manga... My older brother used to watch anime all the time. I think my first anime was Fist of the North Star, which I'm pretty sure was meant for someone on LSD. Vampire Hunter D, the original Dragon Ball, Sailor Moon, Gundam, all had an early influence on me, but I didn't fully fall in love with anime until I started reading manga. Genshiken, Fruits Basket, Crimson Hero, and Lucky Star all kinda catapulted my interests. Now I can't get enough.

1. Daniel
2. Male, 24, Germany.
3. I'm an avid collector of videogame- and anime-related merchandise, particularly CDs, Doujinshi, tapestries, stuffed animals, figures and other items.
I refuse to illegally download anything, which is why I chose this website. I had an account here in the past, but discontent with licensing issues drove me to cancel my subscription. However, seeing how this is still my best option, I have chosen to stick with the website, hoping that the situation will someday improve for less fortunate regions. I also love arranging and sorting about anything you can think of.
4. Dragon Ball was my first manga, the first volume of which my mother bought me on a whim back when I was 9 or 10. I kept sliding down that slope until I got where I am.

3. I am a college student who is majoring in Mechanical Engineering and even though it's completely unrelated..... I am currently studying Japanese too! I've made considerable progress and I've mastered Hiragana, Katakana, basic grammar and about 300+ Kanji. A big part of my learning is watching anime. And because I dislike illegally downloading anime, I joined Crunchyroll. I was surprised to find an incredibly vast of a collection! Crunchyroll sure has grown. And not to mention the shop!

I am looking for Japanese-Learning groups, too. I'd love to join if anyone has one! I'm still getting use to the mechanics on this site and I have been unable to find one as of yet.

4. I can't remember what the exact trigger was but it was probably the dubbed anime I saw on Toonami as a child...but the first subbed anime I watched was Naruto; and yes I still love it.

Used to watch Anime in High School but life stopped that. Now I'm enjoying learning Japanese and watching anime.

Would be ok to say more?

3. I'm a writer, artist, programmer, and gamer at the same time :P
4. A friend of the family drew anime-style pictures when I was younger, and I wanted to draw well like her. She drew her characters from Ragnarok Online, so I started playing the game and drew my characters too - and most of my friends on the game were huge anime fans, and it was around the time YTV started showing anime on Friday nights... So it all kind of came together.

3. I love anime but I keep it to myself (it feels weird, haha). I don't think my girlfriend knows and I keep up with around six shows a season. I don't think people would take me as serious as I have to be for work if they knew how impatient I am about a new episode. I imagine most of my friends would think it childish because mainstream animation in America has to be a comedy for kids that adults just happen to watch.

4. Akira then Ghost in the Shell back to back on the same night when I was 12 yrs. old (maybe) hooked me into anime. Colors tasted better from that day on. I guess wanting to escape the reality of a boring town when I was young probably helped. A real Flowers of evil scenario.
