Though the movie has so many difference in the anime series. Shinigamis are used to get people's lives. Actually, the logic there is not "Killing the death gods is to make them fall inlove". I'm not being bossy or that i know things better, but for me the real thing there was; Death gods are to shorten people;s life and not to prolong them. So, when they do that, they'll die as a consequence and also their remaining lifespan will go to the human whom they saved. In light's case and ryuk, it was really Light's time to die ... so ryuk has to get light's life by writing his name on the DN and will not die. |

(death note2) and ryuk didnt turn into sand because he know that Lights life will already end there. ^______^ *anyway, i hope there is another death note movie... and im looking forward to it'..!!!! im just so sad that i will never see L anymore'...  |
