what does ching chong ching mean in chinese?
Posted 8/19/08
i know that both ching and chong are words in chinese, as is chung.

but since every syllable in chinese means up to four different things, only the chinese can possibly know.

i'm not chinese btw

"ching chong ching" roughly translates to an ignoramus' disclaimer of "i'm a douchebag. please hit me where it srsly hurts. kthnx"

Eh...I'm partly Chinese, and I speak Mandarin and Fookien...but..that's err...
But I do know that there's a term...Ching Chong that's meant to insult people who look Chinese but aren't Chinese.
But then again, it could mean a lot of things

"ching chong?" hahaha a cninese person (born in china and grew up in china) asked me what it means and i'm not even chinese!!
I've never heard chinese people say that, i've only heard 'non asian" people call asian people that ...eg "you ching chong" (as a like...hmmm...racist remark) some people get hell offended being called a 'ching chong"...but yeah... i reakon people say "ching chong" coz from a 'non asian' persons point of view, when they listen to a chinese person talk in chinese or some other asian language that is what it sounds like to them..."ching chong chang....blah blah blah" so when they say it they are just imitating what it sounds like to them.
yeah...thats my explaination...you get me right? anyone else agrees with me?? huh? lol

That sounds a bit more of an insult, other than plain normal words. D:

To effectively do the words you have make your tongue get fat in your mouth and try to sound like silverware hitting the ground while keeping your tongue fat in your mouth.

To speak Manderin I think you have to make your tounge fat in your mouth and think about a tape recording saying words backwards as you speak. Slurring an ocassional word works for me, slurring makes the language have a dialect.
Kwong and Shur are good words to slur.
Oh and keep that tongue fat in your mouth.

Actually, Asians like to hate on each other, so I don't see why other non-Chinese Asians wouldn't say that their language(s) sound like "ching chong"
