The movies were not terrible and I still had great fun watching them, but since I had high expectations I was always disappointed with the X-Men movies. Yet I keep coming back for more and dreaming of better casting (as much as I like Ian McKellan there was a time when Rutger Hauer could have played Magneto, goddammit!), better costumes, better plot, better cinematography...Caught most of one Harry Potter movie and bits of others and felt like I was missing something, so decided maybe I should read the books first. Haven't started reading any though...And Shutter Island. Good movie but I wanted something more in the plot twist.
And I like artsy-fartsy flicks but, gotta admit, I don't think Last Tango in Paris and In the Realm of the Senses "enlightened" me as much as I felt they were hyped to enlighten me. Still great movies, though.

Napoleon Dynamite was a huge letdown i'll always remember. Loads of people i know were getting really excited about it talking about how funny it is so i rent it. And afterwards i felt like i wasted 2 hours. Nothing happens in it, Their is no story and the jokes are not even that funny.
