Kohei Uchimura! He won the all-around silver medal in Men's gymnastics at the Beijing 2008 Olympics
I fell in love with him at first site...such beautiful technic (sorry, spelling?),and overall look.... <3

And although he isn't a real athlete, I have to add Aniki Halu , #9 Of The Blue Scorpions (jdorama:Pride)

I don't know if this has to stay Asian, but if not I probably would have to finish off with Sidney Crosby.

I don't think he needs an introduction but, Also known as Sid the Kid, he is the captain of the Pittsburg Penguins's hockey team.

she didn't play any sports in Hana Kimi, did she? That's kinda random lol. I don't know if I would consider her an athlete.

uhmm. Yao Miiiiiiiiiiiiiiiing.. and yeah Michael Phelps too. <-- these guys are really talented, when God showered talent in their sports i think they got half of it! ahahaha!

Yeah Michael Phelps got major talent.
But Yao Ming? No offense, he sucks at basketball. He's only got a HUGE advantage because he's so tall. If you watched any games during the Olympics, all you ever saw of Yao Ming is missing baskets 2 ft away, and tripping on his own feet 153857 times. I think China is promoting him a tad too much.

CHYEAHH!! He's so cute!! He reminds me of a Johnny boy. If he ever decides to retire from gymnastics, which should be a few years from now, I'm sure JE will accept him

Can you believe there are no pictures of him on Google? I swear, he's the prettiest boy in the Games.

Alexander Artemev

He's my favorite out of the entire Mens US Gymnastics team

farthest right

He's a monster on the pommel horse [=

And he...kinda cute...

PARK TAE HWAN!

This guy is pretty beast. He chose SNSD's Girl Generation song after he won
Haha, anyways, I SWEAR he is the next mini-Michael Phelps.
Of course, he will not win 8 gold medals in one Games,
but his freestyle events will beat Phelps.
In 4 years from now, he will be 22---even stronger and bigger than he is now
In 4 years from now, Michael Phelps will be----27, older and harder to improve

Park Tae Hwan was only 2nd to Michael this year, by a few tenths of a second, whereas everyone else was off by 1-2 seconds.
Park Tae Hwan definitely has a chance against Phelp's freestyle events.

Anyway...yeah, I developed a small crush on him when I saw him in the Olympics.
He's pretty hot [=

She was a sprinter.

I'm pretty sure he's way too short to be an entertainer... most male idols have to be tall. Gymnasts are the size of midgets( no offense to them, I still love them). and there are definitely cuter Olympians than him. For example, Thomas Daley, even if his diving style is weird. And He Chong's amazing looking. Also, a lot of the girls are really cute, but I guess not in the way you were talking about.

In 4-8 years, he may be too old to perform the things he did at the Olympics.
As you have seen from the gymnastics events, most gymnasts are in their late teens-early twenties.

I guess I kinda meant that in a joking way?
I didn't actually mean for him to be in JE...as you did point out, that he is too short.
But his face totally reminds me of Hey! Say! Jump! Boys ahaha.
Well, I guess in my opinion, he's cutest in the Olympic Games.
I actually think his face is prettier than some JE boys.
He needs braces, but other than that, he's cute to me.

While most female gymnasts quit pretty early, male gymnasts usually perform longer. A lot of the winners this year were in their late twenties.
