Never ever. The only exception that i have experienced would be my male friend who likes to dress up like a girl. He gets happy when i call his heels , makeup, etc cute.

I have noticed though, being thirty, I'm sort of in the middle of the range. When I go after 20 yr olds, I get told I'm handsome, when I go after 40yr olds I get told I'm cute.

Maybe...lol. if a girl says you're cute, but....then no! But I think most guys wouldn't mind being referred to as cute. Hot isn't bad, but implies a certain degree of sleaziness while cute is more wholesome (like those puppies are sooooo cute).
