My philosophy is "Early to bed, early to rise makes a man stupid, ugly, and blind." Or rather, "Sleep as much as you can."

My philosophy is "Eat or Die".
I try to live by that simple logic as much as possible.

LoL, you got it pretty much oposite. I'm pretty sure reducing cal intake is shown to increase lifespan (reduce to a certain point...not an unheathly extent)

Well if I don't eat I die...so yeah.
Plus I don't apply that to just eating.
Instead of constantly worrying why I do things or whether or not I am doing the right thing I try to feel at the beginning whether it's right or wrong then go with it.

yea, well the thing that threw me is that you typed that you try to live by that as much as possible. Its either so simple its simply true, or you try to eat a lot (heck, like many people). Seems your more in the so simple its simply true category.

Yea, and no more damn one or two liners(basically this whole page) pls, BK tried to make this a decent thread.

take an unsharpened pencil and try to push it through a piece of notebook paper. it will make an uneven hole with big tears and take lots of force.

now sharpen it and try to push it through the paper. it goes through easy and leaves a neat circular hole.

this illustrates the power of a focused mind.

take a sharpened stone and jam its point into a brick wall, the sharpened stone shatters.

now take a dull mallet made of the same stone and smack it into the side of the same brick wall, the wall crumbles.

A focused mind is a willful mind.
An unfocused mind is a creative mind.
Both have their uses.

In essence what I'm trying to say is, no one philosophy is ever the absolutely right philosophy. Perhaps it is best to view all things as just what they are and not attach our feelings/moral values onto them so much.
