Hang in there psycotaco!!!

In my experience a lot depends on if you (the asshole) knew or were friends with the ex before you started dating him/her. If so, pretty much open season, so long as your friend wasn't qwashed.. If not, a little more sketchy. I guess you ask yourself "how much do I want to keep this friend?"

Umm no... I had a friend and he had a girlfriend whom I first dated with (knew her since 7th grade, but we were not on the same school), we didn't go any further than friendship. But then, since me and her were friends anyways, they earned a good relationship over time.

Heck, my post should be in a topic called "Would it be o.k for you for your friend date the girl/guy you dated?" LOL...

hi, i'm new to this site,
honestly, it depends on your friend, if they are fine with it, then nothing bad could happen, but if they feel even the least bit uncomfterable, i would do my best to avoid it. it turned out pretty ugly for me.

it depends on a lot of things, first if you wanna date your freind's ex than you ll have to find out if it s ok with him, or if your friend's ex is so important to you screw your friend and go for it, if u are friends he will forgive you for this, but i still think if there is someone u really care about it, ignore everybody else and go for it
