I am going to be hated for this, but I can't stand Harry Potter, I'm not a fan of the books nor the movies, I think they suck horseballs on a stick. A little 4-eyed nerd with a magic wand, sure that sounds good and original in theory but I just can't see the potential everybody's talking about, I'll tell him where to shuv that freakin wand of his... Sorry, but someone had to say it.

Yea I agree. Harry potter is the stupidest thing ive ever heard of. I hope someone kills him with a giant eraser, erasing him from the fabric of time.

Oh if anything this is the opposite way most avid tolken fans would go. Anyway I'm glad the move was done quite well, even if it was not exactly faithful to tolkiens conception. Tolkien was a linguist and a fantastic writer I would hold. JKR I would definatly be more hesitant to call brilliant, though I believe she does know how to craft enticing books.

I like Harry Potter just because those are the books that actually got me into reading. I remember my grandma bought me the first book because she wanted me to do something besides watch t.v. and play video games. After a while I outgrew the Harry Potter books but I still like to see what happens since I have been reading them for so long.

I am really picky with what I read now. My motto is that if I can make up better story ideas than the book that I am currently reading then I don't want to read that book.

Well take the first part the fellowship of the ring and i believe its only 300pages or so. I'd suggest starting with the hobbit. But, heck they might make another movie out of that soon.

For anyone who hasn't read Eragon yet, I suggest reading it before the movie comes out. If you don't read the book before you see the movie remember not to judge a book by it's movie.

Me too, but then again, all my ideas come off of what I read and/or watch. I'm just a fan-fic writer... I started to write a HP fanfic....

I think Snape killed Dumbledore because of the Unbreakable Vow. He didn't have a choice. If Draco didn't kill him Voldy would have probably killed Draco, thus Snape HAD to kill him. As for the last book, I think they're both going to die, Harry and Voldy.

Haha right not that I care anymore but if she really did say that I would like to see it. All she said was that there is a possibilty of one of the main character dying. I hope its harry though so we know that the series is done for, for good .

Well you could always watch the movie first. I was just saying that the book is probably better. X3 Eragon doesn't come out until December where I live.
