This is probably the most talked about issue about ai-chan right now..so which is it..short hair or long hair?
is it short hair - the cool and matured look...
or is it long hair - the cute and innocent look...
or maybe you like them both......

I voted for BOTH! Why?
Short hair- Give her the mature look, the look that gives off to others that she is a leader. Not necessarily all leaders should have short hair, but Aichan pulls it off well.
Long hair- means she'll always be our Aichan we know and love. It's cute but I'm sure it's time for a change. We all love the "cute and innocent"!!

aw..im the only one that voted for short hair...i can see a pattern here..young fans prefer the long hair while..not really old..."matured" fans like myself prefer the short hair..it probably has something to do with a persons maturity level..is that too complicated..lol..

for me ai-chan with short hair looks weird.
only sometimes she looks like she did when she had long hair, with some of the ways she does her hair. i noticed that she sometime still puts her hair up as it was when long, and looks the same oddly enough.

Yeah, really. There could be a debate about this. Yet both sides provide a good argument to have Aichan have either hairstyle. It may have to do with age or it may not. Will we find out? We'll never know.
I was also looking forward to seeing a debate myself, but I don't think it's going to happen.

My reason? She looks more like a leader with short hair as she looks more older and mature xD
So yeah, i also liked her long hair, but.. i think short hair is better for her =]

sometimes i do miss the long-haired ai-chan..but thinking of her current situation..i would really prefer the short hair..i remember watching her in concerts when she had long hair..i only see her as someone who is cute and can sing and dance very well..nothing more..then when she cuts her hair..*poof*..instant fan..hahaha..i totally had a change of perspective for ai-chan after she became leader..leaving all the other members in her dust while she performs at a very high level...only few come close..hahaha...for me she is the first leader to be chosen for her talent..and i thank mikitty for the oppurtunity..wahahaha...

i dont think her performance in concerts changed at all. she was always full of energy and such. talent wise she is one of the best in MM, her cutting her hair doesnt connect with it lol. tho when she cut her hair, she dropped in my ranking for fav MM members.
we'll just have to wait and see as the hair grows more, if she'll let it, or cut it again.

thats not what i meant........its hard to explain this to someone who has set his mind on hating ai-chan...
i wasnt talking about her performance...i was talking about her image..what im trying to say is changing her hair style makes her stand out more...not only her hair style makes her stand out but also the current member line-up helps as well..let me explain..
an example would be when yossie was still the leader...of course at that time the ones who stood out more were yossie and miki..and all i see in ai-chan was a great performer(what i said previously..)..now with those 2 gone..and ai-chan being the oldest(coincidentally the best in the group as well..)became leader..but with her long hair she looked young and fresh..just imagine her being the leader with long hair..if i were new to MM and i didnt had a clue who the members were and if asked who the leader was..i would say it was gaki...thats why they needed to cut her hair to make her look more mature..and with that..she totally stands out in the group now..looking like the oldest in the group(i didnt mean that in a yuko-kind of way.. )..she totally has the leader-look now...and thus my history of how i came to like ai-chan..pretty long post..hahaha..
my point is...i know everyone loves the long-haired, innocent, cute, adorable ai-chan..(so do i)..but in her situation now..the short hair is more suitable for her...PERIOD....
