The only reason there's love is so that we'll make babies and produce a new generation and the human population won't be extinct. When you think about it, its just mating and love becomes so bland.

It's great when you have it.

It's a pain in the ass when all you can do is just watch it.

N-O-P-E

[though it kinda depends on what kind of love your talking about. It, as usual, a case-to-case basis...]

yes, love is that great. you're describing it technically without the feelings involved, and that's why it sounds bland.

that might have been a reason to reproduce in ancient times, but since there are already over 7 billion ppl on this planet extinction isn't much of a threat anymore...
actually I think it would be better to stop reproducing completely to fight the overpopulation, and the conflict it causes

That's a rather 'unique' way to look at love....

the only feeling love as ever brought me is pain, since I get dumped every time again
perhaps you're part of the lucky few ... have fun

I doubt platonic love is useless.

nope money and material things are much better...

would you rather be loved and starve or hated but be satisfied? O.o

your choice...

if there is gonna be a next time, that is
and I don't think I would ever dump a girl, since that would make me responsible for her pain...

you're 22, if you didn't lie about your age, you're gonna have plenty of next times. ...and if the relationship's rocky, you're gonna wait fer her to dump you? ...i think not. dump her first.

so, uhhh the point is, LOVE IS GREAT. and if relationships fail, there's always platonic love~

People nowadays take love so lightly...
Making love to someone doesn't prove your love to her/him, it shows your lust.
Having a boyfriend is having a relationship with someone, one should think twice about it. It is best to understand the person before starting the relationship. If you truly like the person, and wish to make a move but uneventfully get dumped. Well, don't be hurt by it. Just remember, you've still got family. And they'll love you no matter what. Love isn't pity, neither is it charity. It is strong feelings of care and understanding towards another.
Love can be presented in many ways. But I'd say that to love a person you do not know is the greatest.
Love is great but it can be a great pain. Don't get involve with someone if you yourself are not ready.

I think this is where the problem crops in. Most people seem to forget a very vast difference between love and lust.
