Wrong- assisting someone in committing suicide is like killing them yourself.

To avoid responsibility let those who want to end their lives do it themselves -__-

Well technically they chose to die =/
I think its nice of him to help them die free of pain tbh isnt euthanasia about dying a calm, painless death? :S

I think from a legal standpoint even if you don't assist someone in suicide but stand there and do nothing to stop them. You could be brought up on with charges on some level of negligence. (not 100% on this tho).

I think its a really complicated matter, its not right since its putting an end to someones life. But its not wrong either since you'd be forcing someone to continue to suffer when there is zero possibility of improvement. While it could be granted to certain people that met all the conditions, I think it'd be likely to be misused by some (patients & doctors) as an easy way out.

Just because there isn't hope today doesn't mean it'll be that way forever but I'd think ultimately it comes down to the choice of the actual patient. If that patient is within mental health to understand/make that decision. If they aren't mentally healthy enough to make that decision, I don't think the doctor should have the ability to make that call for them.

Jack Kevorkian may have been a doctor, but since the law had euthanasia prohibited, the stuff he did was illegal.
I oppose euthanasia btw.
