I love the sci-fi action aspect of the anime. In fact that's what caught my interest when I first watched the anime. It was complex, and there were times that I didn't really understand what was going on, and because of that I had to watch it more than once. But I found the relationships between the characters the most interesting in the way that they all had some intricate and complicated connections to one another.

Yeah me too, but it'll be until 2009 till we get to see RoE overseas, and one could attest to downloading it from a fansub, but the DVDs just came out, and I don't trust fansubbers all too much nowadays. |

Seriously Yoshiyuki Sadamoto needs to finish the manga, his work has been running since 1994 and he didn't finish this thing yet at the point of Hideaki "ever-depressed" Anno makes some extra truckloads of cash while Yoshiyuki just floats on about how he is going to make a proper (i doubt) ending. Anyway the end of evangelion has to be the greatest "deep" ending of all time cuz i didn't get at all... and in later chapters of the manga it seems that Yoshiyuki is taking the same road of the end of evangelion, which sucks, i mean c'mon the movie was released 10 years ago and he want to shove the same thing up my ass again? Endings with a deep meaning are good but The End of Evangelion just takes the concept to a whole new level
Well leaving behind all Hideaki's depression and Yoshiyuki's lazyness i love Evangelion, bought the DVD's (american ones), i'm following the manga scans and buying when they are released (in Brazil), but for Christ sake The Rebuild of Evangelion movie series must take another path, c'mon Hideaki you must be less depressed than 10 years ago so do us a favor and make a real "ending" this time before you get dozens of death threatening e-mails again (most by me). Just for fun, the fans should read this article about Evangelion its hilarious, this kind of material is only avaliable at Uncyclopedia the content-free encyclopedia. http://uncyclopedia.org/wiki/Neon_Genesis_Evangelion |

Just for fun, the fans should read this article about Evangelion its hilarious, this kind of material is only avaliable at Uncyclopedia the content-free encyclopedia. http://uncyclopedia.org/wiki/Neon_Genesis_Evangelion That article Rofl'ed my Waffles. XD "Wait what?....I'm stuck with THAT bitch? Fuck it all...." - Shinji Ikari, End of Evangelion. Anyone read the article on Mobile Suit Gundam yet? "THE PRINCIPALITY OF ZEON: The non-racist space nazis that want independence from the Earth's rule for no legit reason. Also, their rulers descended from some European family that no one knows about called the Wa-Zabi. To add to that, they're strangely a Duchy. (And I thought royal, fat-assed family systems wouldn't exist that far in the future.)" And, the G Gundam article on Master Asia cracked me up: "Master Asia: Master Asia, alias Super Asia, alias Jesus, alias Chuck Norris is the ultimate master of simply everything, giving him a state of art ability to ignore the rules of physics. Not only is he Dumbass' teacher, but he also taught all the other people from Dragonball how to fight. Master Asia abused Dumbass by thrusting his hands into fires, throwing him off mountains, and cheating at the King of Iron Fist tournament(supposedly all training). Betrays Dumbass to have hot loving with the Devil Gundam. Also, he's dying, so he takes Mary Jane as treatment. With the ability to make fire appear out of nowhere, spread communism ("the East is burning red") and as mentioned before to ignore any type of physics, Master Asia's intentions are enigmatic and deep, though some might say he just randomly kicks anybody's ass that get in his way. His achievements include walking over water, turning water into wine, dividing the seas and leading 300 Spartans into a hopeless battle after feeding them with some fish and bread." |

I mean who almost knocked that retarded beard on Gendo's face; by far, that has been the most memorable moment in the entire manga so far. Though I need to get my hands on vol. 11 before I make any judgements like that. |
