Offline	Permalink Reply Quote Posted 2/24/08, edited 4/21/08 I liked ADVs translation and I bought up the platinum pack although I wish they hadn't edited it, but Eva was back in the day. In the US Manga Entertainment somehow got their hands on End of Evangelion instead of ADV and messed it up on top of that they also tried to sell off Death and Rebirth seperately which is just plain sick of them since Death and Rebirth is nothing but a compilation of previous episodes and half of the beginning of End of Evangelion which made D&R a pointless piece of junk. On top of that the resolution was AWFUL, and they posted on the package it was 16:9 ratio, but guess what? Manga in all their suckiness just took the 4:3 ratio and put little black boxes on the top and bottom just to claim it was widescreen, and still it had terrible resolution especially for a DVD. If ADV had released it I'm sure it wouldn't have had such awful issues. I'm currently working on Air Gear also by ADV and they've never let me down.

Shinji kind of made it pretty depressing...but yeah, it's true that it was a well-resourced anime wen it came to the corrupt nature of society. If you were as mature as you claim to be, you'd just go and watch Neon Genesis Evangelion instead of sitting here trying to argue that you are mature enough. Even though, if my perception of you is correct (not saying that it is) you won't really understand the show.
