The following is my own opinion about the olympic ceremonies, Im not planning on editting this so if there is a grammar don't bother telling me.

First of all I'm not a big fan for sports so im not gonna comment on the games. But the ceremonies ARE HORRIBLE!! For starters the entire ceremony both start and ending ones are very Cliched. Becasue China is doing it we would obviously guess the color to be red. Number 2 all these dances are obviously accumulating all of the Chinese Culture, BUT when they did it there isn't much to look up to, they're costumes are completely traditional and not modern enough. What I want to see is large yoyos flung into the air. Not people forming together to look like numbers NOR people playing drums.

The entire show could be shortened down because all these different things are just wanting to show the world about China. BUT what people think about China will probably be Martial Arts or a lot of brush paintings. We not only didn't see enough of this but also too fast.

If you are reading this after the show,(this is ariticle is immediate response to the ceremony) you might have seen the chnese guy say his final speech, well lets rewind this a bit. When the volunteers and Olympic officers were walking in waving their hands. If you see the little boys and girls walk in holding their hands. You could see that their costumes are very plain colors. From blue to red to yellow to orange. WELL i got a problem with this, if those colors represent something it would probably NOT be about the Olympic colors cause the Olympic symbols include the colors of:Red, Black, Blue, Amber and yellow. WHAT THE FUCK ARE THOSE COLORS FOR????WHAT WERE THEY THINKING!!!!?????

Also maybe beacsue i live in HKG becasue its part of China there is no such thing as daily programing cause its the same pile of sports every single day. 24/7 nothing but sports, no dramas no ANime and worst of all watching sports forever. I have to explain that the only ammount of sports we have ever seen in a day is either from the news or a program on sundays NOTHING ELSE!! Which is kinda shredding me from the inside the fact that now i have to watch this big pile of horse shit for 2 weeks.

Did You know...

China used more than 200 billion dollars on these ceremonies and architectual buildings? Not only did they fling money for sports but they could have used it to save the world from poverty or even cure uncurable diseases.

The little girl in red at the start ceremony singing was actually miming? Not only is China's products counterfeited but not only little girls, Well not only am i not suprised but also doesn't that mean they are making themselves look bad?

Rumour has it that my building the birds nest they cut off many material costs and also many people died building the birds nest

The Olympic Stadium for Austrailia was very convenient due to the fact that after the games the place could be folded up so that they don't have to worry about taking up too mcuh space. BUT China did not thnk about that they are planning on just leaving it like that. What a waste of space.

The extravagance of it all does not rest solely upon China though. Most of the expenditures for the Olympics are foreign funded. A lot of US companies give huge sponsorships to the Olympics. I don't believe that it is fair to criticize only China if you are unhappy with how the Olympics were managed. After all, it's just another example of the inter-nationality of capitalism.

Post this in the 2008 Beijing Olympic thread please seeing as you're commenting solely on that.

And by the way. What you are saying is completely unreasonable and totally biased. If you want my opinion then message me. And watch your language.
