Well, yeah I learned some phrases but there are lots of times that I cannot understand Lisa's english. I recommend that u try to study hangul(korean characters) 1st before watching this. It may help you a lot. But I think if u'r serious abt learning the language, u should also buy a DVD or audio CD or maybe a korean-english dictionary that can help u learn it (the language) since they give very few translations of nouns.

honestly, I've learned a lot from a lot of different sources - but I learned nothing from these shows. I do applaud the effort, though.
I am learning a lot at www.koreanclass101.com though

These shows are fantastic but there are two things to keep in mind.
Don't just watch an episode once and expect to remember everything and be able to use it, you have to watch them over and over again (like anything you want to learn).
And secondly you have to practice what you've learnt! Try things out on Korean friends or in writing with Korean pen pals.
I study Korean at a night college and use this program for extra grammar and practice. For vocabulary I use a program called byki (can download a free demo from www.byki.com) Practice makes perfect!
Oh yeah, and definitely learn to read hangul. You can learn to read it in a day or two, it's really easy!!
