How do you cleanse your body of toxins?

I dont remember where but i heard that the human body can have anywhere from 5-15 pounds of waste in it, i think it was an infomertial or something. I was wondering if anyone has a specific way of doing it and how you feel after. (Losing 15 pounds in one go must be crazy!)

Other than urinating and pooping, you can drink a lot of Pineapple Juice everday. Like they said in the commercials, it's rich in fiber and....crap, I forgot again.
Anyways, it can cleanse your stomach through digestion, then you know the rest.

Basically nothing, remember it was an informercial you heard it from afterall. The body doesn't have any "toxins" that just sit there unless you have the "magic pill/ treatment". Wastes and other by-products are always in the process of being removed, so statements like "human body can have anywhere from 5-15 pounds of waste in it" are not a bad thing, contrary to what people trying to sell you health products will tell you.

There are "detox diets" that people make-- look up those or just try to stick to a very strict diet so you don't overload on anything--

if you stay hydrated and eat a healthy diet, your body will take care of itself.

if "detoxifying" wasn't a normal body process, we'd all probably be dead before we knew it.

water, plenty of clean purified water NOT TAP "use a water purifer" you will pee all the toxins out. Also eat healthy fruit and veggies to remove them as well.

getting and keeping in shape is a very good way. body tends to work through stuff faster and get it out of you faster

You could always take niacin.

The best way is probably to sweat it out. You're not going to sweat out 15 or even 5 pounds of toxins, but you get more than normal out that way, Exercise is probably the better way to sweat it out, but even sitting in a hot tub and sweating can get some toxins out of you.

Honestly though, unless you're trying to cleanse drugs from your system anything you do is probably a waste of your time.
