Since they usually mean something in japanese.... there are too many possiblities. The only one I can think of right now is Shinji.

Try this site: http://www.lowchensaustralia.com/names/japnames.htm
I don't know if those are common but they are all japanese! It has male, female, and then family names (last names). Hope you find what you're looking for! ^^

OoOo....I book marked the one with meanings.

But I cant find my name. =( I only have a translation from my chinese name. First part means "Blade of a sword" Second part has a dual meaning. "blade of a sword" and "Vanguard" ...Basically the whole thing I think means "Blade of a Vanguard"

For those who do not know what a vanguard is...they are personal soldiers the king orders into battle....so its like the president and marines nowadays. I guess.

Can someone help find the japanese translation and writing for mine? Chinese characters are here: 劍 鋒 ......Pronunciation is "Jian Feng" in Mandarin.....sounding in Cantonese is something like "Kim Fong"..... I dunno if you can see it that well...i cant. XD I hope this helps clarify things.

The translation for both on the online dictionary is "Blade of a sword" and the second character does not mean that, for my name. I dont think you will find any reference online that will tell you otherwise, either that or I have yet to see one. Thanks .

Oh..and yes I know that the Japanese and Chinese meaning will be the same not matter what. I was just curious as to how it would sound. Sorry for the long post. Many apologies.

just copy it from anime, or something like that. You can learn a lot of names that way. I also found many popular names on wikipedia
