'I lived in Japan and speak Japanese. '

But I am not retarded and so I will not use Japanese words mix in with my English wen I am talking to people who are American and speak English that is just stupid..

Hell mixing any language together for the hell of it is retarded.. And I would smack you in the back of the head for acting like a fool in public. your making your fellow Japanese cartoon fans look bad with your mindless actions.. Grow UP! Losers.

I only speak Japanese in my classes, or if I'm practicing the language with others. I will admit to maybe adding '-chan' on the ends of my anime friends' names, but they're fine with that, and it's not exactly obtrusive.

Actually, for anyone who is a student of a foreign language, I know it can be easy to mix up languages. Being a student of Chinese, Arabic, and Japanese, I know I always slip a little of Japanese into Arabic mistakenly sometimes. Strangely, no Chinese though.

I have wondered while reading this thread how people in Japan that use random English words are viewed by their fellow Japanese.

Of course, given that English is taught in the schools, perhaps it would be the same as someone in the U.S. using random Spanish.
