Ok guys I dont know why Lady Oichi's story is so.. well tragic.

I dont know if her story was really tragic like what Samurai Warriors and Basara Heroes did.

Lets assume that the sad stories in Samurai Warriors and Basara Heroes (that time when Nagamasa died) was true.

The question is, What do you think of their story? Did it made you sad also?

yes it made me very sad =( Oichi did'nt get to die with Nagamasa she end up dying with the old man that's just wrong

True, I play Oichi story and it's just sad.

Nagamasa and Oichi are always lovers but just that one war with Nobunaga has to stop it.

I'm very sorry for both lovers T_T

i've seen there stories in several ways from her dieinig in the fire of Odani Castle and i've seen stories where she was recused. But of all the stories i saw was so sad it actually made me cry, and that was sad for me cause my cause was there and he felt the same way. the way i saw it was... ' Lord Nagamasa was there holdong Oichi's arms by her pink silk robe. "My lady Oichi, my time has come... i will die here, but you must go on!" he cried!
"No!" Lady Oichi cried . "I want to die with you! Please my lord!"
Nagamasa shook his head. "No!"
Just than General Hideyoshi Hashiba had burst through the door with a group of ninjas (not sure why ninjas)
"Lady Oichi hurry! Come with me! Quickly!" He screamed alon the crackling of the fire.
"Go!" Nagamasa screamed to Oichi. finally she nodded and hurryed to Hideyoshi and they escpaed the castle. As for lord Nagamasa Azai, well he took the most honorable way of the samurai and killed himself by walking into the fire with a smile on his face. his last words, " take care of Oichi." was the last thing he said, and Odani castle crumbled around him...
that's my most favorite version of the story! it's so sad, but it's so well put!

I played both sides in SW2 and just seeing that as the most tragic love story in the series, it is also the most inspirational love stories I ever seen being played out.

the story is so sad, oichi lost her lover nagamasa, and she also married that brute shibata, and she has three children, and she dose not her brother, why didnt she go to hideyoshi?, not to say she met nagamasa when she was praying for the died, poor one, when she died she said '' hideyoshi take care of my children, lord nagamasa, i am coming'', may she go to heaven.

A) After all that happened, let's consider that she committed suicide but somehow Nagamasa (in spirit form) urges her to move on with her life and thus she went to Katsuie because he have strong feelings for her but still coping with her husband's death.

B) It couldn't have worked with Hideyoshi because he was already married to Nene

Aside from all that, she had the most tragic end of the stick.

What I actually found funny about Nagamasa's story was the rebellion against his brother-in-law was all a dream. And yet when you unlock his Gaiden stage, it somehow fits and not fit. It leaves me to question what the hell really DID happen in Nagamasa's story, am I not alone in this?
