Having just entered a college the first thing that should be rolling around any freshman's mind is the expense of those overpriced, once a year, shock inducers we call textbooks. yes kitties in college you have to buy your own book and each book cost roughly $100, and up since the teachers seem to have a knack of picking out the newest edition you can guess that you'll be sent back a ps3' worth or 2. Well after looking at the texts at the local book shop it was my intention not to follow that path and instead only spend about $20 a book and hell it actually worked out. It was my intention to try to get the last edition of the books and buy them at amazon or ebay since they have the best bargains. On average i spent about $15 on every book compared to my fellow chums who spent well over $400 on all their supplies. Alas having all these books around the house does seem a bit annoying, I think ill sell em after I'm done with the class

That's a pretty good idea, although at my high school they can be pretty picky to which edition you get. It's extremely annoying, the price of school books is such a sham because you only end up using them for one year anyway! Though, I have borrowed someone's book all year long before, it was easy to do since we were obviously in different classes.

in here they have the funny idea to make them priceless(for "free"~)

last semester i did the same thing. a book that would cost me like $150 i bought for $20 (new, international edition)...

college/universityboks are so expensive =/ what gets me is when teachers don't use the books at all >_<

this semester i got lucky ^^ i got so much in scholarships that my all tuition is payed for and i had some extra to buy my books at my college's bookstore... first time i use the same books as my rich classmates lol

D: I'm not looking forward to buying my textbooks. Just this quarter alone my books will most likely be $200 each.
