The same goes for those drawn in the shounen genre. Also, the perspective of what is drawn poorly and what is not depends entirely on the person viewing it.

It's a seinen manga that's trying to portray a historical character. It definitely gives a more "realistic feel" to it. With that said, shoujo mangas are not less well drawn. They tend to take away from the environment and add more details to the characters(mostly facial). It's only logical since shoujo mangas focus on relationships rather than adventures/fighting/fanservice.

Mmm, I thought vagabond's are was amazing, I feel the same about mushishi, just because it dosn't follow the social standards, dosn't mean it's poor.
