do any of you guys remember the old days? like when you started up your slow ass computer waited for 30 minutes then double click that aol icon to hear that obnoxious noise so you could surf the web at speeds slower than you can microwave a burrito at. if you have only surfed on dsl, lucky you; if you have gone through my pain then its time for a little nostalgia. back then i thought the internet was this holy power that could only be brought out in times of urgent need and surfing was difficult since telemarketers would cut your connection faster than it took to get on the net in the first place. back then i had net zero( god those were like the dark ages) and every time i logged on i had a measly 10 hours per month to do things on the net which would be insane since some people spent well over that in one day. in the end my father signed up for dsl when it was on sale( god bless him) and i never looked back since.

I can't afford comcast (Yeah, i know, fast, it's not for everyone, BITCH!!) so we have AT&T installed at home. It's not that bad compared with dial-up.

my parents used to set up Net Zero on the week days so that my brother and I wouldn't get side tracked with the internet and that we'd actually do our homework :\

lolz i had that aol dial up crap when i was in 6th grade, luckly we immediately switched to DSL, which is faster and less expensive. Aol, gives crappy dial up and likes to get more money for it.

Shit, I hated Dial-up! Than you had to wait while the computer loads and it makes those noises? Than it would freeze than you had to start over and ahhhh!!!

But yeah, those were the days.
