There are many good artists out there, but most of them just produce stuff that entertains for a moment and then becomes quickly forgotten, but there is great art and there are great artists (though to each their own I suppose), and so I'm curious as to who everyone's favorite artist(s) are! Images are very welcome, but try not to post an obscene number.

Maybe I'm crazy, but my favorite artist is Marc Chagall... I can get lost in his work for hours and hours.

Your turn.

Thats a good one^. I love M.C. Escher, sorry but i cant be bothered to find pics at the moment, its late and i have work in the morning. I just love the surrealist style, its all very geometric but it doesnt feel that way.

I really enjoy a lot of Dali's work. Beyond that I just like random pieces by different artists. This is one of my favorites by Dali at least. It's called Swans Reflecting Elephants.
