well porn aint natural...lets get that straight ;)

2. While you were around that age span as mentioned above, were you a viewer of pornography?

personal view : sex is natural - love ect....problem regarding porn is, its fake love. It creates a very wrong picture of what love really is. woundlt really make a LAW, from wich age group that should be aloud to watch it.Since its really a parent thing.
most country's simple picked the easy way out of it - age 18!(hint..all "adoult" material suddently becomes free from chart 1 at the age of 18)

my mum and dad picked the easy way out: not really doing anything in the open, but simpley staying in the shadows. letting me do my own thing and only beeing interrupted. When it was obvious "the wrong way"...phsy teaching...they are good at that :P(general having the open road free...puberty was damn easy for me, since they already tryid it with my big sister...)

I am a parent of two teenage males. When I was a teenager it wasn't an issue, there was no internet and no VCRs. The only "porn" was magazines or films at sleasy cinemas. I had no desire to see any of this and neither did any of the other girls. I think the boys had magazines. Now I find I have raised two young men. I am sure they both have porn. I am equally sure it is straight porn (not that I would consider it a tragedy if my sons were gay) that doesn't involve any s&m, bestiality etc. I can be sure because in parenting we reap what we sow. I have raised them to be respectful to others and themselves. I don't have any filters on the internet. The oldest (turns 18 on Wednesday) has the internet in his room. The youngest (14) can use it in the loungeroom or his brother's room. They have not learnt about sex/relatioships from porn, but from the sex ed program at school and from me, and a certain amount from their friends. I have always answered any question honestly and directly. The worst thing a parent can do is shroud sex in secrecy. Internet filters and censorship encourage curiosity and make kids want to find a way round it.

Trucks- It's just porn mum

Friday after dinner
situation is the same over again
Mum she wants to watch the news
but I just want to watch the film at ten
so I get my way again
Halfway through the movie
naked bodies getting groovy on the screen
Mum she changes channels, turns away
she can't believe what I just seen
embarrassed she starts to clean

It's just porn mum
You're running away
You wouldn't believe
what the kids see today

It's just porn mum
And it wont go away
Wherever you turn
you find porn everyday

It's just...
billboards on the way to school
use porn to make their shit look really cool
So cool
Girls I see on MTV
cover the fact their bands all look like fools
But their videos make me drool

It's just porn mum
You're running away
You wouldn't believe
what the kids see today

It's just porn mum
And it wont go away
Wherever you turn
you find porn everyday

It's just porn mum
Just porn mum
It's just...

Mum I know that you're embarrased
but just face it
we can leave the movie on
Don't think that I am so naive
that I don't have a clue where I came from

It's just porn mum
You're running away
You wouldn't believe
what the kids see today

It's just porn mum
And it wont go away
Wherever you turn
you find porn everyday

It's just porn mum
You're running away
You wouldn't believe
what the kids see today

It's just porn mum
And it wont go away
Wherever you turn
you find porn everyday

It's just porn mum,
just porn mum
Porn mum,
it's just porn mum
it's just porn mum
just porn mum
it's just porn

It is hard to tell yet if I regret knowing the true reason behind the success of the internet. And I don't have a single friend that didn't grow up without taking comfort in one dimensional women in one form or another. Growing up means worlds of frustration in thirty-one flavors, and the last place you want someone to snap is under the pressure of lust. I was raised to be respectful and fair with women and see beyond what they initially had to offer my eyes. And I did that for the most part to the living and breathing women I crossed paths with. But because I got into a cycle of appeasing that craving for connection with fictional women, I ended up losing a realistic connection with my own sexuality for a most of high school and became such a space cadet that I literally didn't recognize attraction or anything else that the women in my life had to offer and ended up connecting with them at the most shallow level anyway.

It is said that pornography encourages the objectification of women, and serves as a gateway for sexually injured or unhealthy women to further twist their hearts away from true intimacy. And while a stunningly large percent of the adolescent male population is channeling their desires into the void of the internet, the flesh and blood women of Earth become wallflowers at one of the most visceral dances of what it means to be alive; finding themselves left without the satisfaction of their more complicated desires. I ran away from the confusing women of reality to a simpler place that seemed like a victimless crime that affected no one else. I'm not so sure I can claim this. Pornography is the McDonalds of lust where you go when you don't know what you are missing or just are really desperate. What happens to the restaurant industry if everyone goes for the crap?

But in the defense of pornography, I have some friends that would have probably found less healthy and more compromising relations with the real women in my life, and pornography probably keeps desperation at bay to a certain extent, keeping people from being more hasty in their decisions.

I'm going to fly my geek colors proudly in this next paragraph. It's like Defense Against the Dark Arts. It isn't available so you can terrorize the world with your knowledge, you learn about it so you don't freak out when confronted with it, you kinda develop a partial immunity. You just can't get obsessed with it. Seduced, if you will, like the Dark Side in Star Wars. And yes, once you start down that path, forever will it dominate your destiny. But anyone who has read Herman Hesse knows that you can never truly appreciate the beauty of the big picture without diving into the filth to understand what defines goodness.

I don't see anything wrong with it I was watching it at a very young age, and i don't know a single person in my family who hasnt seen some form of porn by the age 11 so ya...(and now live porn does nothing for me, and hasnt since i was like 11;started watching porn around 5-6 i wanna say)

Its just like trying to teach kids abstinence its ok to teach them not to have sex and wait but educate them on everything sexual so they don't end up with an STD, or pregnant

adults who don't want kids to watch porn are hypocrites, I know I wont be able to yell at my kids (darwin forbid I have any) b/c I have no room to talk and its not hurting anyone so ya...

I hate pansys who want to hold their kids hand their whole life, and bible beaters who think everything is a sin...cavemen didnt hide when they had sex so im pretty sure they saw their parents having sex, or other ppl...lol thats a funny thought actually

Why is it that a 14 year old started a thread on porn arent u a littile young Jr. while you clearly seem to be highly intellectual for your age 14 years old is just wayyyyy too young unless your ready for sex yourself you shouldnt be talking about porn.
Posted 4/5/07
i don't think porn and especially sex should be made so hush hush as if it's a crime. it just raises incentive for younger people to go out of their way to discover such things.
