CATS: All your Christmas are belong to us. You are on the way to destruction.

...Seriously, how does it belong to anyone? It's about Jesus... I could get really technical and say Mithras but....

no one "owns" Christmas. It is a holiday that celebrates Jesus' birth. Santa is part of tradition and sorta makes the festivities more fun.

I love all the people saying Jesus. Without any of them realizing that he was born in August and the date was moved. As an almost purely capitalistic purpose of providing merchants with more income during the winter months when buying generally went on the decline.

edit: at below so Jesus is some fat old guy with a beard that sounds creepily like a child molester.

oh the herecy............ Santa is based off of St. Nick, who is a loving saint devoted to Jesus.... sheesh ... and reguardless of companys trying to sell stuff to people, people have done that since their was more or less an economy, bringing in the corruption of the economy into this is pointless, it has been known and pointed out countless times in history, boo hoo.. socialism is good, but not at the cost of freedom.... how is this happening!? the whole thread is more or less crap since it begins with a topic that is clearly pointless to bring up. How are you turning this into a religious and economic thread!?! stop it!!! ...sheesh

oh well.. anyways... yes, Merry Christmas

Neither of them do, it's not for people who dont exist in this world anymore, people own it. and don't give me that bullshit "they exist in your heart" they have to have a physical being.

Gotta love smart people who know history. ^^ BWAHAHAHA! That's right all you avid church goers who swear by the bible, learn history before you preach stuff and and make assertions you cannot back up!
