Yes, in US they do, or they might. My friend(when she was younger) got a job at some restaurant, part time of course. However, isnt it too early for you to get a job?

dnt u get free newspapers in ur city? In London, there are several free newspapers such as The Metro (from London Underground tube stations), The London Lite, and The London Paper.

At your age, I cleaned, babysat, and cooked.
At my dad's company, I would do odd jobs and whatever anyone felt like training me to do, like painting and metal-working.

It's called Dryden Diving, and it's something of a contractor for underwater work. Repairing boats, pier inspection, and underwater whatever-they-do at nuclear power plants. Among other things.
