korean dramas are repetitive after awhile with the same plots~ they're like usually two couples ><''
japanese dramas are pretty good with different plots..for me at least~ taiwan dramas are like mostly based off mangas? but i dont really know how to describe tdramas xD

Korean dramas are generally the same, dramatic plotline with the same storyline that never gets old, just different actors and settings. They have the best clothes and seems to have the biggest budgets out of these four. (of course, mainland China owns any of those on budgets and traditional clothing)

Taiwanese dramas have the smallest budgets and usually starts off great but a lot have bad or average endings. Most are based on Japanese mangas Also, has anyone else noticed that they've been moving towards the more-sex side recently?

Japanese dramas are very short and generally has a darker picture (not story, just the cinematography). They also generally have more variation in story.

TVB dramas usually focus less on a romantic relationship and aim towards a larger audience. They usually some romantic relationships, but also greatly focuses on friendship, family, and career.

kdramas are more glossy as in very fairytale like...same old love triangles and/or square love affairs.

jdramas are more realistic, short to the point but often leaves you unsatisfied with the ending.

twdrama are overacting, cheesey, and happy, unrealistic and sometimes rushed endings.

Ok those are my humble opinions, but I still love watching them...hahahha I'm sooo addicted!

Taiwanese dramas:
Use many of the same horrible actors and actresses in dramas one after the other (seriously Ben Stein has more acting skills)
Cheesy
Totally drag out a manga story or destroy it completely

Japanese Dramas
Short
Many are based from mangas
Incorporate many life lessons in the drama
Lots of open ended final episodes

Korean dramas
Use the same theme way too many times example (love triangle, death, hospital scenes, etc)
Use old actors to play high schoolers
Way to long

k-dramas
long/draggy (most but some are REALLY good)
best clothing, fashion ect. (budgets as well)
fairy-tale like

j-dramas
some are based on mangas (but good)
to the point, fast (although very repetitive and predictable)
not the best endings

t-dramas (i think is the worst out of them)
unreasonable plot-line
overacting
ugly actors and actress for the main character (most of the time)
no originally (also manga storylines) but stuffs the manga completely (most of the time)

Korean dramas: REALLY GOOD ACTING....it sucks u into the drama...makes the situations seem so real...but the plot and theme become really repetitive....

Japanese dramas: more like anime than drama.....theyre really short....and they over exaggerate alot, which make them really fun to watch

Taiwanese dramas: REALLY CHEESY...and they need better actors....and they always steal the japanese mangas and make htem into dramas...they over exaggerate as well...but they dont do it enough so that it makes u think that the people just cant act...unlike the japanese which over exagerates to make the drama more interesting....the dramas are all different from each other...i havent seen any repetitive plots...

kdrama -uses real life situations for problems of the story like family, social status, age, past lovers
jdrama- mosty happens at school and teaches a lot of lessons the ending is like double coz it looks both complete and in complete in case of part 2's
tdrama- a lot of comedy although it gets exagge sometimes it still is funny

hhhhhhhhhhmmmmmmmmm

i think they don't have that much difference with each other. korean and japan can both make you cry or laugh if they want, the difference, korean are long. japan direct to the point. korean satisffying ending, japan wait for the special.

wish there's a forum for must watch. so people could say what are the most worth to watch!
