If anime lovers are weird, then there are a lot of weird people in this world...
Or is the person calling anime lovers weird weirder because they cannot understand anime...?
Ain't that weird?
Might be my weirdest post ever...

Are you referring on my question?

Not precisely trying to be offensive, but yes. Trying to define "weirdness" and then either identifying or not identifying with it (the subject of the post) simply results in verbosity with very little meaning.

People see us weird because they don't know what its like to watch anime!

I admit I'm weird but in a sense that they can understand!

umm.. why would you think that? or anyone in that matter....
some people love anime..
some people love disney..
just because some people have different interest than you.. that doesn't make them weird.
its just basic knowledge.... its humanism

Haha... It's like saying we're not weird is too humble...Hmm... Being weird really is something to be proud of!... So I say "So what if we're weird or not?!" *[the safe ground]* Anyone can be weird in any possible terms/way, that is when the people judging them do not patronize the others' interests....

Actually, that is just my question to the thread maker. Not trying to be an asshole here or anything, but I meant it to be rhetorical for the purpose of her (or him) knowing the definition of weirdness and why they call anime lovers weird. Moreover, what I'm seeking is not the definition; rather, I'm not seeking for anything in the first place that's why I agree that it is meaningless. My question just came out in my brain randomly.

Hell, people here seems to have a uniform definition of "weird". The definition I totally expect.

I singled out your question because it coined nearly all the posts up in a neat nutshell. All of their replies hinged on how they defined "weird", like you mentioned. It also seemed that your use of rhetoric was in defense of anime viewers, which now appears to not necessarily be the case; however, my first response was an "rebuttal" of sorts on that typical defensive posture people take when confronted with the possibility of themselves following an unappealing identity.

Your first question just seemed to have embodied that sentiment. My target was not precisely you, but everyone else.
