how do you say "i love you" in japanese? Image

it's aishiteru or aishiteru yo but Japanese tend to express themselves by saying suki dayo which literally means i like you.

I knew some Japanese before I started watching dramas, but from dramas I learnt:
ikemen - hottie
tantei - detective
kyouto - head teacher (plus some other school related words)
yankee - ganster style
dachi - slang for friend
goukon - date party

i think variety shows are better for learning japanese. b/c in interviews they always ask the same questions 'whats your name, where are you from, when were you born, what's your type, etc' and those are the types of thing you want to be able to say.
